Workshops & Engagements

We work in different phases; from Workshops to Exhibitions & Outdoor Activities for the Seniors, assisting in ABC-SS

Our photography, videography, editing & arts workshops is the first and primary step in engagements. We not only seek to empower them in teaching and learning something new, but we look towards befriending as well.

After the workshops, we collate their work and all that has been done during the course of the workshop timeline, and look for event venues where we can public exhibit them. There will always be a theme given, and thus showcases a different side of Singapore.

We then look into ways where seniors can contribute back towards the various SSAs/AACs, be it in volunteering opportunities or using their newly found skills to contribute back towards the community. This allows them to not only practice but to constantly grow in their journey of learning.

As the number of seniors increase per SSA/AAC, we seek to continue engagements with outings, photowalks, photo tours etc to keep their new found skill and hobby exciting and engaging. This allows the seniors to continuously look forward to the activity as ongoing, aiming to pull them away from possible social isolation

case study #1

Lion’s Befrienders Service Association (LBSA)

Our first client, and also our humble beginnings into teaching & empowering seniors through photography. We started with 2 small groups of seniors from Clementi & Tampines Active Ageing Centres (AACs), which became 2 of the areas we served most at.

Our humble Beginnings
case study #2

St. Luke’s Eldercare

Our other client that helped us further shape how we could cater classes better for seniors with different needs (i.e. Limited Mobility, Dementia, Reduced Cognition etc). Our team looked towards crafting and catering the workshops to include a learning that look pasts their limitations, but to empower them through step-by-step progress & learning.
